How to Use This Website

Overview
San Diego County Cancer Navigator is a clearinghouse of local (and national) cancer-resource links. We provide a central database of links that allows you to find San Diego-based services and information more quickly and efficiently. Our database contains an abundance of links and will continue to grow as the program evolves. If you know of a resource not listed with Cancer Navigator, please call or e-mail us through our HelpLine .

Navigation
Resource links, when clicked, will open in the same window. To return to Cancer Navigator simply hit the "back" button on your browser until the Cancer Navigator site is back on your screen.

The Cancer Navigator website contains
five main sections:

Connections
Here you will find a fast way to access all the resources contained within the site. Consider this your one stop to connect you to the links you need without having to access the other sections.

Care & Support
You'll find a host of services here to fit your needs ranging from medical facilities to screening centers to support groups.

Education
Learn all about cancer including statistics, prevention, and complementary medicine. You'll also find links to national websites.

Clinical Trials
An important part of Cancer Navigator, Clinical Trials offers links to local and national trials. You can also research information on how trials are conducted and who is eligible to participate.

HelpLine
Our staff can offer additional assistance with the website and can help you with your research. You may call at your convenience or send an e-mail message by filling out our on-line form.

Quick Links categories (on the Home page) can also be found within the main sections, but we have given them prominence and provided a direct link via the Home page. The Quick Links include prevention & screenings, nutrition & fitness, quitting tobacco, and support groups.

If you would like additional help please contact our HelpLine .
